Chetian Tourist Center uses irrigation as a thread linking reception and exhibition to village history. A waterwheel anchors the hall; glass strips and lighting branch across the floor like channels, guiding visitors past geometric wall reliefs drawn from traditional Miao patterns.

Courts separate reception, exhibition and tea spaces, while passages connect them. Blue stone and concrete establish a grey palette, contrasting rough masonry with smooth slabs. Daylight, accents of coloured light and reflections in the glass floor introduce shifts in brightness and transparency within the stone enclosure.
