“Waves, Traces and Horizon’s Edge” frames the project through Yazhou’s meeting of water and sky. The imagery of moving people, breaking waves, a distant flute and roaming sails locates the design within the maritime landscape and cultural memory of the South China Sea.

Parallel, flowing units translate that frame into a common organisation for the northern sports centre and southern deep-sea museum. Commercial and pedestrian spaces pass between specialised athletic and exhibition programmes. Shading systems and sea-viewing platforms connect environmental response with coastal experience, allowing different forms of civic activity to share one spatial order.
