Bing’an Memorial arranges commemorative exhibitions within a former salt-transport warehouse. Dense timber grilles screen and reveal views along the route, allowing photographs, documents and objects to emerge as visitors move through the interior.
Red, yellow and white roof light contrasts with dark timber, giving the halls depth and a commemorative atmosphere. Salvaged wood and mortise-and-tenon joints continue the old building’s craft, integrating the exhibition with the town’s timber fabric.
